Breakaway Promotion is proud to further its commitment to growing the sport by investing in the next generation of riders. In an effort to promote greater participation in gravel cycling among young athletes, Breakaway Promotion has created the More Juniors on Gravel program, an initiative designed to lower barriers, spark curiosity, and provide meaningful opportunities for junior riders to experience the challenge, camaraderie, and adventure that define gravel cycling.

 

By welcoming juniors into the gravel community, we aim to inspire lifelong riders while strengthening the future of the sport.

All junior riders may register in the Junior category at half price for any distance at Gorge Gravel and/or Cascade Gravel.

 

Additional junior discounts may also become available through donated entries from registered riders or as donations through cancellations that occur. When a cancellation-donation entry is received, that single standard entry will be converted into two junior entries, helping expand access and participation for young riders.  Juniors currently registered will receive a refund of their entry fees, as entry donations are given.

 

• Age: Qualify as a junior racer (18 and under at the end of the calendar year)

• Events: First two rides of the Oregon Gravel Series

  • Gorge Gravel, April 26th, Dufur, Oregon

  • Cascade Gravel, May 31st, Sisters, Oregon

• Pre-ride Meet & Greet/Q&A with Sponsors and Pros at Gorge Gravel

• Team tent setup option at Gorge and Cascade
